Sage Leafhopper Eupteryx melissae (Curtis, 1837)
Probably widespread and common on Sage (Salvia officinalis) growing in gardens throughout Nottinghamshire. We found Eupteryx melissae easily and in some numbers on just a single plant growing in the grounds of a day care centre in Mansfield in early September 2016, where it was in company with the similar (and smaller) Eupteryx decemnotata.
