Bruchus rufipes (Herbst, 1783)
This small beetle turned up on some waste ground at New Ollerton in early October 2012 and eventually proved to be Bruchus rufipes. This is a seed eating species, with a southerly distribution in the UK and very few records north of a line between The Wash and River Severn.
