Bisnius fimetarius (Gravenhorst, 1802)
A relatively common species, which is often noted in flight although more regularly recorded in dung, leaf litter samples and decaying vegetation. Bisnius fimetarius has turned up in our garden at Market Warsop in 2009 and more recently from the nearby cemetey in early 2020. Like many Rove Beetles, they are difficult to get to remain still for long enough to photograph.
