Bembidion obtusum (Audinet-Serville, 1821)
A very small and presumably common Ground Beetle of open sandy habitats. The one photographed was one of several examples found underneath discarded refuse at the former Warsop Sand Quarry in January 2014. Length 2.5mm. Bembidion obtusum is known from Budby South Forest in the Sherwood Forest NNR.
