Bembidion illigeri (Netolitzky, 1914)
A very small and common Ground Beetle, this one was found underneath a piece of bark on the edge of a temporary pool of water at Bevercotes Pit Wood in July 2011. There are several other similar Bembidion sp, so an ID is not straight-forward. Length 3-3.5mm.
