Bembidion assimile (Gyllenhal, 1810)
All of the Bembidions are small Ground Beetles, usually less than 6mm in length and are extremely difficult to identify to species level from photographs. This Bembidion assimile measured just 3mm, when found with several other Carabidae, in flood litter near an area of water on Warsop Main Pit Top.
