Bembidion articulatum (Panzer, 1795)
All of the Bembidions are small Ground Beetles, usually less than 6mm in length and are extremely difficult to identify to species level from photographs. This Bembidion articulatum was one of two present at the muddy edge of a small pond on Budby South Forest in April 2015 and, not only represents a new species for the Sherwood Forest NNR, but the only Nottinghamshire record away from a few sites in the far east of the county.
