Aphodius sordidus
Aphodius sordidus is quite a scarce Dung Beetle and especially favours a more acidic grassland, with a generally open aspect. This one was found in exactly such habitat on Penny Pasture Common at Eakring in mid-August 2008. Length 5mm.
