Chilothorax paykulli (Bedel, 1907) ..... Formerly Aphodius paykulli
Chilothorax paykulli is an uncommon Dung Beetle nationally and has Nb status. The NBN Gateway map confirms that this beetle has a very scattered UK distribuition, but could easily be missed among the hundreds of other early Spring Aphodius during casual dung sampling. This was found in fresh Horse dung on Budby South Forest in April 2013 and was only the second record for the Sherwood Forest area.
