Aphodius depressus (Kugelann, 1792)
In comparison with the larger Dung Beetles A. fossor and A. rufipes, Aphodius depressus is fairly distinctive through it's smaller size (6.5mm) Generally shiny black colour and quite distinctive to ID, purely on size and colour alone.
