Anisodactylus binotatus (Fabricius, 1787)
Anisodactylus binotatus is a distinctive Ground Beetle having pubescence around the outer edge of the elytra. It measures around 10-13mm in length. The one photographed, was one of several found in Sherwood Forest. Photographed in July 2008.
