Trypetoptera punctulata (Scopoli, 1763)
A beautifully marked fly, belonging to the Scyomizidae group. This Trypetoptera punctulata was found by sweeping grass and low vegetation, this Snail eating fly was found at Budby South Forest in early September 2010. The NBN Gateway, currently lists no Nottinghamshire records.
