Tipula vernalis (Meigen, 1804)
Tipula Crane Flies are difficult to identify unless using an identification key, so great care has to be taken. These Tipula vernalis were photographed at Hills and Holes SSSI in May 2013 and nearby Market Warsop Cemetery in 2019. A common species, usually found in damp wooded areas.
