Temnocerus nanus (Paykull, 1792)
A very small weevil and one of several examples we found on Birch scrub in an area of Sherwood Forest CP in May 2010. Temnocerus nanus has been recorded several times during coleoptera surveys over the years and is probably a fairly common weevil around the Sherwood Forest NNR, who's small size probably makes it less commonly recorded than it actually is.
