Rhinoncus castor (Fabricius, 1792)
Another small weevil found on Sorrels, Rhinoncus castor is around 3mm in length and an indistinct species. Although probably quite common, this record from Sherwood Heath SSSI in May 2013, represented only the third for the Sherwood Forest area.
