Phratora laticollis (Suffrian, 1851)
A fairly common leaf beetle (presumably?) which is found on Poplars. Several of these were beaten off a large Black Poplar growing in the grounds of Nettleworth Manor in early August 2009. Length around 4.5 - 5mm. There seem to be two distinct colour forms - one a distinct blue and the other green.
