Peritrechus geniculatus (Hahn, 1832)
Nationally this is a common ground bug of dry grassy sites, but not a species we have found on many occasions in Nottinghamshire. The adult is relatively dull, compared to the attractively marked nymph in the lower photographs and found at Vexation Lane near Edwinstowe in August 2012. The adult was swept from grass at Clipstone Old Quarter in August 2017.
