Perapion marchicum (Herbst, 1797)
A tiny weevil found on Sheep's Sorrel at Sherwood Forest CP. There are few records of Perapion marchicum for the site, but this may be due to the very small nature of this weevil. Although only measuring 2mm, this beetle can be found quite easily if present, but there are a range of other, similar species which feed on Docks and Sorrels.
