Perapion curtirostre (Germar, 1817)
Perapion curtirostre is one of several small Weevils which can be found on Sorrel. All of the county's records we have access to, show a westerly-bias and there are no records east of the River Trent. However, if looked for, Perapion curtirostre is very likely to be found in most part of Nottinghamshire. Our thanks go to Tim Sexton, who found and photographed this example, at Attenborough NR in April 2017.
