Neocoenorrhinus germanicus (Herbst, 1797)
Three specimens of this attractive blue Weevil found in close proximity to eachother on Bramble at Cockglode Wood (Pendleton, T.A.) on April 24th 2021, seems to be only the second county record. Sometimes more commonly referred to as the Strawberry Rhynchites, the only previous Nottinghamshire  record appears to be from Barton-in-Fabis on August 31st 2011 (Wright, R.J.). It appears to be broadly distributed across much of the southern-half of the UK.
