Magdalis memnonia (Gyllenhal in Faldermann, 1837)
Found new to Nottinghamshire in June 2020, when beaten from Pine on Warsop Main Pit Top, this unexpected county addition is also nationally rare and the NBN lists only a handful of records from the extreme south-east of the UK and both west Norfolk and Suffolk. The one pictured below, is easily the most northerly UK record we are aware of and was confirmed by the county recorder, who's collection it now resides in.
