| Lasiorhynchites
cavifrons (Gyllenhal, 1833) |
||
| This beautifully coloured beetle, represented the first Sherwood Forest record since around the turn of the last century (W.E. Ryles) at the time after being found in a moribund state at Sherwood Forest CP in May 2009. The upper four photographs show a second adult found on Hawthorn at Sherwood Forest CP in May 2012. There are two or three similarly coloured species, making ID quite difficult. | ||
