| Despite being a difficult group to identify, it is still surprising that Water Beetles have been totally overlooked throughout all recording at Sherwood Forest NNR. Consequently, all species such as this very small Hyphydrus ovatus, seem to be new to the NNR. These were found commonly in the pool on Budby South Forest in August 2009. Length around 4.5mm. | ||
