Hypera postica (Gyllenhal, 1813)
This brown weevil was found underneath a stone at Warsop Main Pit Top in April 2009. Presumably a common species, Hypera postica is quite distinctive with the rows of long white hairs (setae) along the elytra. Length 6mm.
