| Despite being a difficult group to identify, it is still surprising that Water Beetles have been totally overlooked throughout all recording at Sherwood Forest NNR. Consequently, all species such as this very small Hygrotus nigrolineatus, seem to be new to the NNR. This one was attracted to MV light at Sherwood Forest CP in August 2009. Length 3mm. | ||
