Hydroporus pubescens (Gyllenhal, 1808)
Less common in Nottinghamshire than most other Hydroporus species, having a more westerly distribution with very few records coming from the Trent Valley. Several of these were found in a small pool at Clipstone Old Quarter in early September 2009, but most small water bodies seem to hold this beetle.
