| Despite being a difficult group to identify, it is still surprising that Water Beetles have been totally overlooked throughout all recording at Sherwood Forest NNR. Consequently, all species such as this very small Hydroporus pubescens, seem to be new to the NNR. Several of these were found in a small pool at Clipstone Old Quarter in early September 2009. | ||
