Hydrobius fuscipes (Linnaeus, 1758)
A member of the Hydrophilidae group, Hydrobius fuscipes is commonly found near water. In a short search, we found two adults around the edge of a small pool at Clipstone Old Quarter in early September 2009. Length around 6mm.
