Galerucella tenella (Linnaeus, 1761)
A small, common and inconspicuous leaf beetle. Several other extremely similar species make identification of Galerucella tenella less than straight forward. These beetles were found commonly on low begetation alongside the River Meden at Meden Vale near Market Warsop, in early May 2012. Generally widespread across the UK, with few Scottish records.
