Galeruca tanaceti (Linnaeus, 1758)
A large leaf beetle (Chrysomelidae) which provided an unexpected find on Budby South Forest in August 2009, incidentally turning out to be the first record for Sherwood Forest NNR at the time. It has not been recorded here since and there are few recent county records of this large leaf beetle. Length around 10mm.
