Euleia heraclei
This colourfully marked Tephritid fly, was found on Hogweed at Sherwood Forest CP in May 2011. Many Tephritid flies are identifiable by wing pattern, but these do vary across individuals of the same species. This record was a surprising first for the NNR at the time.
