Ditropis pteridis
A very common Delphacid of Bracken, Ditropis pteridis is abundant throughout wooded areas of the Sherwood Forest NNR. Occurring from May till August, the male is smaller than the 3.5mm long female. These females were photographed at Clipstone Old Quarter in late May 2011.
