Crepidodera plutus (Latreille, 1804)
A small leaf beetle found on Willows or Sallows. All Crepidodera jump readily if disturbed and there are several similar species to make any attempt at identification difficult. Crepidodera plutus, is the only species to have clear differences in the colour of the lower four or five antennal segments. There are recent Nottinghamshire records from Besthorpe, Girton, Dyscarr Wood and the Idle Valley NR.
