Coriomerus denticulatus
Coriomerus denticulatus belongs to the Heteroptera sub-order Coreidae - often colloquially referred to as Squashbugs. Squashbugs are close relatives of Shieldbugs, but are much more subdued in their colouration. This seems are fairly common species in north Nottinghamshire, but is predominantly a southern UK species.
