Bembidion guttula (Fabricius, 1792)
A small ground beetle, in fact, this one measured no more than 3mm. Bembidion guttula is common across the UK, favouring areas near water. This one was found under a log at Hill and Holes SSSI at Market Warsop in August 2009.
