| A dead adult found in a manure sample taken from a field at Ollerton in early March 2021 (Pendleton, T.A.), seems to be Nottinghamshire's first record. Labarrus lividus is rare in the UK with apparently very few records in recent years, with the nearest to VC56 Nottinghamshire coming from western parts of Norfolk. A second Nottinghamshire record has since followed, with the specimen below, being found in a manure sample taken from near Farnsfield in March 2026, by Nick and Samantha Brownley. | ||
