Ancistrocerus parietum (Linaeus, 1758)
Possibly an under-recorded species within Nottinghamshire, with traceable records coming from Attenborough NR and most recently from Market Warsop in 2018. There are difficulties in identifying most species of this Genus, especially from photographs. The one below was recorded clearing out an old Osmia bicornis nest and went on to construct and fill one cell with Tortrix Moth larvae, then part-stock a second cell before disappearing.
