Agriotes acuminatus (Stephens, 1830)
One of the less common Click Beetles in Nottinghamshire, with a distribution centred around the Sherwood Forest area and several sites east of there. There seems to be a single, isolated Agriotes acuminatus record from Bunny Old Wood in the south of the county, but there may be an element of under-recording by less experienced entomologists, as identification is not entirely straight forward, although it can be done from good quality photographs.
