Sitona suturalis (Stephens, 1831)
There are two Sherwood Forest NNR records for this fairly large Sitona. The most recent record came back in 2003 when it was found on Sherwood Heath SSSI (Godfrey, A.) This is a well marked species, but worn adults could be more troublesome to identify and the Sitonas are generally quite difficult for the beginner, even when fresh. This one was swept from low vegetation during a recent invertebrate survey at Dartford, Kent in September 2012.
