Podagrica fuscicornis (Linnaeus, 1767)
Two records from along field edges at Stoke Bardolph in August 2021, look to be the first accurately documented records for Nottinghamshire, despite an older (uncredited) record from Sherwood Forest dated as 1981. Sherwood Forest would be thought an unusual location for a beetle reliant on Mallow Malva sylvestris as a hostplant and there are several similarly coloured species which it could easily have been mistaken for.
