Mordellistena variegata (Fabricius, 1798)
Until only very recently, there were no known or published records of Mordellistena variegata for Nottinghamshire, but one found and photographed at Netherfield Lagoons in August 2021 (Tyler, M.) finally ended the wait for this expected addition to the county fauna. Like other so called 'Tumbling Flower Beetles' they are usually found on flowers. Thanks go to Mark for providing his photographs for publication here.
