Common and widesread in Nottinghamshire, Lucilia caesar is one of several species of Lucilia, which are the so called 'Greenbottle' Flies. Identification to species level, cannot really be done without the aid of a microscope and scalpel, but Lucilia caesar is the most likely species to be recorded around houses and gardens. | ||
