Eudasyphora cyanicolor (Zetterstedt, 1845)
This attractive blue coloured Muscid, seems to be very much a rarity in Nottinghamshire. In fact despite our efforts, we have been unable to trace any previous county records, so this female found at Thoresby Park in August 2017, may actually be the first for Nottinghamshire. The NBN Atlas shows that most Eudasyphora cyanicolor records, are confined to Wales and parts of Scotland, with relatively few from England.
