Curculio villosus (Fabricius, 1781)
Curculio villosus is a Nationally notable B species. This rather characteristic grey Weevil, was found at the Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust's Gamston Wood reserve near Retford. There are known records from the Sherwood Forest area, but Archarius villosus has a scattered UK distribution, mostly in a line from the Severn to The Wash.
