Coeliodes rana (Fabricius, 1787)
A very small weevil measuring around 3mm in length and probably common throughout much of the Sherwood Forest area. One of our few records of Coeliodes rana was on our car in one of the car parks at Sherwood Forest CP, where it has been recorded several times. The top two photographs were taken at Treswell Wood in early April 2014.
