Coccidula scutellata (Herbst, 1783)
Coccidula scutellata is one of the less recognisable Ladybirds. Several of these were found within the hollow stems of Bulrush at Eakring Flash in early March 2013, where it had not been recorded during similar seraches for other beetles in previous years, so may well be another recent colonist of the site. Length around 2.5-3mm.
