Calocoris alpestris (Meyer-Dür, 1843)
A large species which is uncommon across the UK. There are similarly coloured species, which make identification more difficult. Calocoris alpestris is found on nettles in areas of woodland. The nymph shown in the right hand photograph was found at Warsop Wood in May 2008, but the adult was found more recently, in May 2010 at Sherwood Forest CP.
