Bruchus loti (Paykull, 1800)
This beetle belongs to a group of seed-eating species of Chrysomelidae (leaf beetles). All Bruchus sp are easy to identify in the field, but difficult to correctly ID, as there are other similarly looking species. Bruchus loti was found in numbers by sweep-netting an area of vegetation containing an assortment of Vetches, at Warsop Main Pit Top in June 2013.
