Bembidion doris
(Panzer, 1796) |
||
| Rare in Nottinghamshire, where it is found in marshy sites and especially close to water. The ones photographed, were among six found under a log situated in partly submerged grass, at the edge of a shallow lagoon at Warsop Wood in late April 2021. There are many similarly looking species, although Bembidion doris is visually quite different for a Bembidion, as long as you're familiar with Carabids generally. | ||
