Bembidion dentellum (Thunberg, 1787)
A small, distinctively marked ground beetle, but quite large for a Bembidion. Bembidion dentellum is widespread across the UK, favouring damp areas or near water. During the Winter months, this beetle can often be found under loose bark near water, usually with other Carabids. Seems quite common in north Nottinghamshire.
