Brown Hawker Aeshna grandis (Linnaeus, 1758)
Status .....Widespread across the whole of Nottinghamshire and often occurring along woodland rides, the edges of woods and along hedgerows well away from water. Like all our large Hawkers, is difficult to approach closely.
